We
are actively involved and participate in the planning
and organising of the annual Black Heritage events in
London, most especially in the London Borough of Southwark.
We have recently assisted the
Nigeria High Commission in reconstituting and policy
development of the Nigerians In Diaspora Organisation
Europe and the UK South chapter into a charitable company
limited by guarantee. In 2006, we participated actively
in the Worldwide Diaspora Policy Review Forum initiated
by the Nigeria government on Nigerians in the Diaspora.
We have also assisted numerous agencies, organizations,
faith and community groups through management support,
inductions, policies development, etc.
As a responsible member of
the community, we often provide free consultation and
professional support services to community, voluntary
and faith groups, including individuals needing our
professional support as part of our social responsibility
and commitment to the community.
We also assist newly qualified
professionals, particularly from the Minority Ethnic
communities, on work placement / voluntary schemes through
Black Business Initiative (BBI) and other agencies in
order for them new graduates and those just returning
into the UK job market gain meaningful employment opportunities.
